I got this message with that trainer. Is NOD32 just being extremely paranoid? Or is this normal?

I think this should be only taken as a warning; that hotkey hook DLL is being used for good purposes here, while NOD32 is, yes, a bit too paranoid.

Ah, thanks. Used to use Norton just a short while back and didn't get anything like this. Oh well, better off paranoid with NOD than overconfident.

I got it too work by making my image drive the d:/ drive
then usin curerom with demon
