Do you mean Blindwrite is better than Alcohol 120% with A) reading the original or B) writing the backup or C) both? Can you quote me other forums where people confirm this information? I'd like to include this in the FAQ...Thanks!

yes blindwrite is better than alcohol to make a backup - look to my signature and u'll see what i mean - i've rented this games and make a backup copy (ONLY TEST THE GAMES - I DESTROYED ALL BACKUPS BEFORE I'VE THE GAMES GIVE AWAY) with blindwrite - blindwrite is able to make a 1:1 copy of securom games and safedisc games - for starforce games u can read out dpm perfectly - and there r methods to edit the dpm file after u've made the image (there are some tools - searching about google - like bwa edit or quickmount and so on...) incorrect messures can be corrected. that's not possible with alcohol images.
home: http://www.vso-software.fr/products/...blindwrite.php (german only) and u can use blindwrite on win x64 - alcohol not ![]() blindwrite works extremly fine with plextor drives - i used a plextor dvd burner so i use blindwrite toohttp://fileforum.betanews.com/review/971418981/1/view http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail...0/1030467306/1

If you have the right Drive you'll get perfect Copies with Alcohol 120%.
Forget The Plextor, just get A Normat Toshiba or Teac DVD ROM, they do the work perfect. No need for Overpriced crap.

Blindwrite will utilise many drives.
Its ability to read the topography of a disc is precise and second to none. |
