See the top of every thread list page for the forum FAQ. As for the CD-key, don't request any; forum rule #2!

noscript 16-12-2005 07:53

cdkey is in your box or printed manual.

DABhand 16-12-2005 07:57

I bet he downloaded the game :)

noscript 16-12-2005 08:00

this was out of question. But I wanted him to look stupid :)

the easiest and %100 working way is
1) unplug ide and power cables of your dvd-rom drives (no need cd drives)
2) mount using daemon tools 4 (all emulations on)
3) install
4) open the game. it asks for restart. do it
5) mount full image on daemon tools 4 - exit daemon tools from system tray but leave emulation options enabled (it asks)
6) enter game - enter your serial
7) play
8) After that, you must do this for play
-unplug dvd roms.
-mount full image (dt4).
-exit dt4-leave emulations enabled.
-enter game-PLAY!
sorry i dont know english well :(
EDIT: i forgot this: you should have only ONE virtual drive (dt4) while doing all of these..

Joe Forster/STA 16-12-2005 09:05

What happens if you have more than one virtual drive in Daemon Tools? Do you get some message from the copy protection?

definitive NO!!!

and there is no need to activate any emulation option - u only need a copy with GOOD DPM info - NOTHING MORE!!!!!!

if ur backup does not work u have bad dpm info - recommended are plextor dvd burner - for me my 712A works perfect.

to create a good backup DO NOT use alcohol 120% (or 52%) - better is blindwrite.

that's all

Joe Forster/STA 16-12-2005 09:42

Do you mean Blindwrite is better than Alcohol 120% with A) reading the original or B) writing the backup or C) both? Can you quote me other forums where people confirm this information? I'd like to include this in the FAQ...Thanks!

glenbo 16-12-2005 10:03

yeh its all intresting stuff tell us! cos i gave up making starforce back ups ages ago with alcohol.

XdaywalkerX 16-12-2005 11:28

yes blindwrite is better than alcohol to make a backup - look to my signature and u'll see what i mean - i've rented this games and make a backup copy (ONLY TEST THE GAMES - I DESTROYED ALL BACKUPS BEFORE I'VE THE GAMES GIVE AWAY) with blindwrite - blindwrite is able to make a 1:1 copy of securom games and safedisc games - for starforce games u can read out dpm perfectly - and there r methods to edit the dpm file after u've made the image (there are some tools - searching about google - like bwa edit or quickmount and so on...) incorrect messures can be corrected. that's not possible with alcohol images.

home: http://www.vso-software.fr/products/...blindwrite.php (german only)

and u can use blindwrite on win x64 - alcohol not :D

blindwrite works extremly fine with plextor drives - i used a plextor dvd burner so i use blindwrite :D too

oh oh :P

Diranar 17-12-2005 02:02

If you have the right Drive you'll get perfect Copies with Alcohol 120%.
Forget The Plextor, just get A Normat Toshiba or Teac DVD ROM, they do the work perfect. No need for Overpriced crap.
