Rather then make a new thread regarding a different CoD2 error..i'll just post here.
I am up to the demo level (in the full game) and everytime i load..it crashes and resets the pc. Playing in safe mode is fine..it just seems to be when i change Direct X from 7 to 9. Strange thing is it was fine up until the demo level started. I have had no problems with any other games :/ Specs are (if needed): 3gig P4 2x512meg of Ram 128meg 9600xt. Running XP prof.

your right if you set it to 7 direct x you will lose alot of quality but at least you will be able to play the game ig your pc is not powerfull enough you wont beable to play at all on direct x 9
