I'm still trying to disable the autoplay on the mounted cd but its not that simple, it seems.
I found serveral links on the net but most of them refer to regsetting like NoDriveTypeAutoRun but you have to reboot. I don't want to reboot Is there anyone how has a COMMANDLINE program (or program WITHOUT GUI) that will do the trick? I know its possible cause Tweak UI can do it, Alcohol can do this but only if you mount from within alcohol not explorer and offcourse for al the xp pro users; gpedit.msc (all without rebooting). I tried to automate the gpedit-method with registry.pol + gpupdate.exe but that **** doesn't seem to work....... So i'm looking for a program WITHOUT interface (eg commandline) that lets me enable/disable the autoplay/autorun (and this for win2000, xp home and pro (i know, i'm asking alot)) Any help would be appreciated, Jannick |

just reboot, its gonna take what 2-3 mins for windows to load up again, hardly a crisis, and it'll take much longer sitting here waiting for an answer, to disable autoplay when u put a cd in just hold down the shift+ctrl key on the left side of the keyboard.. not sure if ctrl is needed, i usually do both

"2. go to c:\ggl\Cfg templates\ and copy the right template ini to g:\ggl" copy it where? g:\ggl?? g:drive how do i copy it there or is it a missprint? ----------------------------- is this right? [AutoLaunch] GameName=Gtlegends Security=SF Exe=D:\GTL\GTL.exe ExeWorkingDir=D:\GTL\ ProcessWaitClose=GTL.exe [Alcohol] Image=D:\Documents and Settings\TimmY\Skrivbord\gt\itw-gtl [SF] Sfn=C:\GGL\sfn\SFNightmare.exe SfnNode=1 SfnCD=1 SfnATA=0 SfnCh2=0 SfCureStart=C:\GGL\SF Anti File System Blocker\!start.bat SfCureStop=C:\GGL\SF Anti File System Blocker\!stop.bat thx Last edited by TimS; 27-10-2005 at 09:19. |

and as for gt legends; you copied the right template but change security to "SF > 3.5" instead of "SF" (doesn't matter really BUT keep in mind that you need to UNPLUG your power cable of your cd-devices!!!) if this doesn't work; try changing SfnAta to 1 of SfnCh2 to 1..... keep us informed... |

okey i tried to do what you told..
changed security to "SF > 3.5" is that the only thing in my INI that is wrong? no other changes? and then tried to change SfnAta to 1 or SfnCh2 to 1 but that didnt help. it tells me in red that I should disconnect cable in red.. and I have done it.. when pressing Launch I get an Error window, it says: Line 0 (File "D:\GGL\GLobal Game Launcher.exe"): Run($Sfn) Error: Unable to execute the external program Cant find the source or searchway what to do... |

so move d:\ggl to c:\ggl or change path to sfn in ini-file btw: i noticed that key Image of section Alcohol should be D:\Documents and Settings\TimmY\Skrivbord\gt\itw-gtl.mdf |

Okay, heres version 1.2
GGL v1.2 Extract to C:\GGL not to C:\GGL1.2 (or change ini) - sorry, you need to remake your ini-files but its much easier. - Edit Global Game Launcher.ini (it's the only file you need to edit for default image location and first alcohol device letter) - If you have an amd pc, put your amd sfcure files in C:\GGL\SF Anti File System Blocker\sfcure - Have fun - Let me know what you think about it Last edited by Jannick; 12-11-2005 at 18:32. |

but i guess it's still necessary to unplug drives!?
(i'm talking about GT Legends!) i tested your utility yesterday and it worked with a not dpm-tested image i created myself. but i experienced that the game starts and launches correctly (though i had a crash after 15 mins of gaming but i dont think this is about the protection) but you cant launch it a second time. you have to reboot if you want to play again. another thing is that sfnightmare tool. sometimes (esp. when the game doesnt launch and exit properly) it messes up my dvd/cd-drivers so i cant burn cd's or dvd's. i dont know whos the author of this tool, but a "status" would be nice to all the options. well. but it worked and this is what counts! good job jannick!
