Game Launcher

Hi,

i created a game launcher for all those sf and sr7 games.
This will launch the game with a single (double) click

GGL

default extraction location is c:\ or modify the ini files

readme file included;
source code is included;
exe file is included; if you don't trust me, delete exe and compile it yourself with autoit v3

credits; many thanks to the creators of these wonderfull programs

let me know what you think...

Nice Prog. But i would be very happy for D-Tools Support.

By the way, would you mind if i add it to my page alban.copybase.ch

Endly A Clean Soft For Sf3 Thank You!!!!

I just wanna say THANK YOU! For your little soft (not that little)

Actually i was doing all the tricks separately to make the GT Legends start!
But Now its all in 1 click.
The best thing is that you can make your own setup parametres depending on the protection.

Again Thank You! :)

Me Again.....

Just want think i'like to say!
To make work this little trick.... You definitely have to Execute the sfcure and reboot before you actually install the game!

Just for those who were still trying!
Enjoy this great simulation game!

Well it's not that hard;
1. Download ggl and extract to c:\ (this will create a map GGL)
2. go to c:\ggl\Cfg templates\ and copy the right template ini to g:\ggl
Rename the ini file to something more meaningfull like TmSunrise.INI
(!!should always be INI)
3. Edit the inifile
Fill in all the parameters
Exe, workingdir and ProcessWaitClose can be found in the original game shortcut. ProcessWaitClose is most likely the exe file of the game.
All the other parameters depend on the security but it's pretty straight forward
4. Save Ini
----------------------this was the configuration of 1 game-------------
5. Start Global Game Launcher.EXE
6. Choose game you want to play and hit the Launch button.

If you're expirience more difficulties (spelling??), please be more precies.

hope it helps

I'm still trying to disable the autoplay on the mounted cd but its not that simple, it seems.

I found serveral links on the net but most of them refer to regsetting like NoDriveTypeAutoRun but you have to reboot. I don't want to reboot :mad:

Is there anyone how has a COMMANDLINE program (or program WITHOUT GUI) that will do the trick?
I know its possible cause Tweak UI can do it, Alcohol can do this but only if you mount from within alcohol not explorer and offcourse for al the xp pro users; gpedit.msc (all without rebooting). I tried to automate the gpedit-method with registry.pol + gpupdate.exe but that **** doesn't seem to work....... :eek:

So i'm looking for a program WITHOUT interface (eg commandline) that lets me enable/disable the autoplay/autorun (and this for win2000, xp home and pro (i know, i'm asking alot))

Any help would be appreciated,
Jannick

just reboot, its gonna take what 2-3 mins for windows to load up again, hardly a crisis, and it'll take much longer sitting here waiting for an answer, to disable autoplay when u put a cd in just hold down the shift+ctrl key on the left side of the keyboard.. not sure if ctrl is needed, i usually do both

im launching a game, don't want to restart.
Try press shift in a program/script. Tried it; ain't easy, need for new thread. I've created a program that presses shift for 20 sec but i just don't know to which screen i should send it. Ain't explorer.exe....

you're right, it ought to spell "c:\ggl" instead of "g:\ggl"
and as for gt legends;
you copied the right template but change security to "SF > 3.5" instead of "SF"
(doesn't matter really BUT keep in mind that you need to UNPLUG your power cable of your cd-devices!!!)
if this doesn't work; try changing SfnAta to 1 of SfnCh2 to 1.....
keep us informed...
