The namechange feature will be added in the next update that is due to october. I think that they will LOWER the requirements for ranks and not make them higher, that was what I meant...
 Battlefield: Special Forces is an expansion pack that will be released sometime in December all over the world. As the name suggest there will be focus on Special Forces in the game, meaning to attack chopper, no big tanks only jeeps, buggys and perhaps a transport chopper or two. New classes, 6 different armies or something like that, grapling hook, zip-line, nightvision and teargas will also be added to the game.

I saw a promo-video of the expansion pack. Teargas and nightvision looks great and also the hook and the zip-lines will be great.
I know what i give myself for christmas. :-) Video can be downloaded HERE.
