It freezes because its having trouble loading the data. BTW did you get any read errors when making these image files?? No PSX or PS2 CD game has intentional read errors so no matter what software your using always select "abort on read errors" in the software settings.
The problems you describe are common with cheap media and or weak lasers. If your not getting any read or burn errors then try different media. One other thing. If you use cdrwin and used a pirated key to unlock it it will burn coasters. Be warned. |

I scanned the image with CDmage first, there were no errors.
I'm not sure anymore but I think my PSX was cleaned when it got the MOD-chip built in (not so long ago). Anyway I should try some different brands of CD-R. Thx for the help. Cya.
