..and because some child thinks this has ANYTHING to do with pirated/copied/borrowed versions of BF2...

This method works only if you have a valid, legal, purchased version of the game with CD key (like I do) to play online.

If you don't own your own copy, this will NOT work other than to give you the opportunity to play with lame bots in single player mode.
