While Sam'n'Max Hit the Road is certainly an oldie but goldie,
1. this is NOT a general game support forum;
2. don't bump (forum rule #8)!
Perhaps, you might wanna read another walkthrough and/or the ScummVM docs (maybe, this is a known bug in the ScummVM engine!).

Sam n' Max is NOT a ScummVM GAME either! ScummVM is an INTERPRETER for games written using the SCUMM script language, first used in LucasArts game Maniac Mansion, hence the acronym SCUMM (Script Creation Utility for Maniac Mansion). It sounds like you are playing an illegal version bundled with the ScummVM interpreter!

@GLH: That's why I said it 'sounds' like it was an illegal version

Doesn't mean it was ripped from an 'original' CD

OK, OK, I'll shut up now

History has proven people in places of power can sometimes abuse their position, in this case by probably banning someone without warning , allegedly!

I own the DOS VGA version on 3.5" Floppy Disk if that's any consolation

In fact, there is an upgrade card in my box for the CD-ROM version for only UK £7.50. But I can't order it till after FEBRUARY 1st 1994 it says
