In that case I will remove my offer, but it is still my belief that people should do whatever they want with the software they bought. They invented copy protections and we accept it, they invented internet/phone activation and we accepted it. Now will they ever accept our rights? The very last thing is to remove the ability to play it at home between computers.
Why should we buy software anymore? We can download it from the internet without copy protection and without activation... |

fine fine - but some years ago games like Starcraft a.s.o. got a spawn mode, with which u could play at least in LAN with one Original and up to 8 players... And i agree with impi about in this way..

Earth 2150 had also spawn modes. And what happend? I went on a LAN and someone gave his disc around and almost everyone had a spawn version after that.
In times where meaning of copyrights is so low, I also wouldn't think about spawn versions anymore. In the forums of the game they mentioned it already and asked for multiple license for the registrants which should be only a few bucks. |
