Well, if you an nForce 2 brand chipset, that is to blame, games with a similar version of safedisc / securom that CoD has WILL reject your original disc because there is a supposed confilct with the nForce 2 drivers and the and the anti-copy protection on the disc...
But this is ONLY if you have a mobo that has the nForce 2 chipset... So you have to apply a No-CD crack to the game in question...
