I have been having a similair problem as well lately but mine is not with the actual burn time but more the encoding time. it reaches near 4hrs some times. I am using DVD shrink. any help on speeding this up would be greatly appreciated.

on dvd shrink (v 3.2) are you checking off deep analysis and AEC? that could be your longer times.
