Question V:TM - B: A newbie needing help!

Hi, guys! I'm new to these forums as well as to this CD burning thing. I actually know absolutely NOTHING about CD Burning, so i simply don't understand things like image mounting, 120% Alcohol and stuff, so if you want to reply something that involves this kind of terms, PLEASE explain them to me .

The thing is, that I DID read other threads, and saw that some other people had similar problems to mine, but the answers they got were way too complicate for a newbie like me. So, this is my situation:

I recently acquired a copy of V:TM - B (not original, with HOODLUM crack), installed it without any problems. When i tried to run it, my monitor would go into stand by mode . I fixed this by making the game run in windowed mode, and I saw that once the game started, it asked me to insert the game disk 1 and continue playing, but when i closed the window it would go normally to the main menu, but once i clicked on the "New Game" option, that message would come up again, and this time, shortly after closing it, the game would simply close itself too. I've downloaded and installed the patch, as well as downloading the 1.2 no-cd patch from GCW, but the problem persists. My system surpasses BY FAR the minimum requirements of the game. Does it have something to do with running in windowed mode? I read something about having Debugging and Emulator programs running while launching the game, but I don't have any of these kind of programs whatsoever, since you can see, I don't even KNOW what they are.

Thanks in advance for any help .

Warez are not allowed here. If you wish to play the game then buy it.

Hmm, from what I've read in other posts I understood that other people also made copies of the game and tried to run it, just like me. All I'm asking is to explain the solution to the problem others had as well in a way that newbie people can understand it as well.

TATATATA: my 1000 post......

Unfortunately, a "warez kid thingy"....

@Vicius

So you may not be able to read. Cos we discuss backup of legally owned games here, not "acquired" ones!

Got it ? (I doubt it)

I am going to have a drink with Smithers now, just celebrating. Maybe strange things will happen...

Ah, Monday morning.... Time to pay for your two days of debauchery, you hungover drones.

I could crush him like an ant. But it would be too easy. No, revenge is a dish best served cold. I'll bide my time until.... Oh, what the hell. I'll just crush him like an ant.

Congrats Monty, respect with 1000 posts...
uhm, the thread was about Vampire, right?
Yes the others threads has been about LEGAL backups of their purchased games NOT, I repeat NOT any kind of acquired versions (aka downloaded).

So please take your warezed games and get out of here.
Next time joining a forum, read the d*mn rules.

First, I haven't downloaded the game, I DO have the game's 3 cds, I had a friend make a copy of HIS original game to me. Second, I'm only asking for an answer that has already been given to another person, but only in a less complicate way.
