It is not normal that the DPM process takes more than an hour to complete. Wich game have you tried to backup?
The StarForce 3 version included in Splinter Cell 3 uses a new method to prevent DPM reading. You can now only make a working DPM on a computer on wich no StarForce 3 drives were ever installed. This method is working for me with the following games: DTM Race Driver 2 (European-Version) Splinter Cell Chaos Theory (European-Version) Silent Hunter 3 (European-Version) If you want to make a backup of one of those games, use my .MDS. You can even use my .MDS with the US version you only need to swap the US StaForce Key with the Europe StarForce Key. I would be happy to send you the european keys via PM. Have Fun!!!
