Yes thats right, i tried cracking it for myself (no protection like SF or SD only CD Check, released in German Gamestar) because it uses all files from cd.
I only came to the point that i was able to play from hdd if hdd is named to tony_rm and folders from cd are in the root of the hdd. To make a nocd crack I would have to rewrite nearly the whole gay cdcheck protection

great game, now it works without heating the cd at 50x cdrom drive while playing hrhr thx to joe
