Tony Tough (german version)
 

I tried the german and the english no cd patch from gcw, but none of these works. Game still requires the CD !

Any hint ?

Ich habe die dt. Version von Tony Tough, aber das no cd patch von gamecopyworld funktioniert bei mir nicht.

Kennt jemand das Problem ?

Yes sometimes the Nocd patches are in fact only 'Fixed exes' meaning you still need to use a backup copy of the original game disc! What is the use of this I hear you saying? Well, it allows you to store the original away in a safe place, so it doesnt accidentally get damaged, and play from a copied version!
(I dont have the game myself but just letting you know how it is with some of the sometimes falsely labelled Nocd patches! ;) )

grumpy is right, you still need the cd in the drive to play, i got the game myself and play like this.

Yes thats right, i tried cracking it for myself (no protection like SF or SD only CD Check, released in German Gamestar) because it uses all files from cd.

I only came to the point that i was able to play from hdd if hdd is named to tony_rm and folders from cd are in the root of the hdd.

To make a nocd crack I would have to rewrite nearly the whole gay cdcheck protection

If you had contacted me via E-mail, as I suggested in my previous article, you could have A) helped me with the no-CD patch and B) received the no-CD patch already by now...

great game, now it works without heating the cd at 50x cdrom drive while playing hrhr

Ahhh a simple bad boy, did you have to change the registry to the ye olde paths of ' ./ ' :P

No, had to do the ".\" path change right inside the executable... :)
