sorry about the double post but what dnas patching method do you recommend:

Once you have obtained a valid Disc ID, determine which method
you'd like to use to patch your PS2 game back-up image before
burning it. There are currently (2) DNAS Patching methods available:

Image Patcher V1.6 OR Disc ID Insertor V2.01

Both patchers accomplish the same task (patching the Disc ID),
however, the Image Patcher patches entire .iSO images and the
Disc ID Insertor patches the Disc ID into individual files from the
image. If you choose to use the Image Patcher, then click HERE.
If you choose the Disc ID Insertor, continue to Step #5 below.

I use WinDip too. But i thought you couldnt logon to Socom2 cause of the cheat window message? has things changed?

no, it's still the same for US version because they should first install that new patch. pal region still can get online with the backup.

sweet as well I did it all well I thought I did untill I checked the backup copy of my socom 2 and the disc id is different to the original and I did change the id to the original one is there any ideas on what I stuffed up on ??
