no i was just misunderstanding what he was saying. i thought he said that you could "only" play without vids with the method i suggested, but what he was trying to say was that you "can" play without vids. Which is sometimes a good thing so that you wont have to see the movies over and over at bosses etc.
i 100% agree that getting the working file is the best solution which i think i stated in a previous post in here, well dont want to beat a dead horse so lets move on unless another bug is on the menu  did you try updating your soundcard with the newest drivers? usually that can mess up sounds in a game.
