copy the files on the disc to your hard drive, then using notepad edited the top line of the SYSTEM.CNF to read
BOOT2 = cdrom0:\I5BOOTN.ELF;1 Then rebuilt the ISO in nero or another program in no particular order and making sure to rename it to the original name of disc. Dump it using HDL_DUMP(or another program) and using I5BOOTN.ELF as the Disc ID (Instead of SLES/SLUS/SCES_XXXXX) Try loading it with all modes OFF if nothing then try with All modes and so on

That elf supposedly allows you to be taken to the Multiplayer options. You're able to create a game but not join it. That's what I've heard.

ok so ur saying dump the files onto my computer first, then edit the system.cnf to read BOOT2 = cdrom0:\I5BOOTN.ELF;1, then rebuild the iso using nero or another program, then dump it using hdl_dump(whats this for?) and u also said to use I5BOOTN.ELF as the disc id, so ur saying to use this id for when i make the iso image?
p.s. but what if theres no system.cnf file...there is a file called system but it doesnt have an extension of some sort and there is a folder called cnf as well but there are no files containing system.cnf. Last edited by frequency; 16-11-2004 at 08:31. |

hdl_dump is a PC ----> PS2 program.
The command line to dump the iso would be something like this: hdl_dump inject_dvd hdd1: "Ratchet and Clank 3" c:\RC3.iso I5BOOTN.ELF I believe that should be it. Although it's not going to work..... |
