I don't like the look of the V2 and the V1 fits my hand perfectly

perhaps u didnt quite understand my question...how do i know that i have a v2 and not a v1 already? is there a difference i should look like to distinguish between the two versions?. the one i bought a couple of months ago uses two AA batteries if thats any good information.

If it uses 2 AA Batteries, then you have the v2 version. The v1 uses 4 AA which is why it is somewhat heavy (I've gotten used to it already
). Kind of a shame that the v2 for you messed up already.... it kind of makes me worried how long it really lasts.  I've had my v1 for a bit over a year so far and only now it started to mess up. Eh, I think I'll take my chances and pick up a couple of v2s.
