I'd be glad to help you out, but I seem to be outside of the loop on the whole 'crack' issue...

What are your system specs? After playing the demo, the game certainly doesn't seem to too system intensive, though you never know, I can run Doom 3, high quality, 1280*1024 res at 60 FPS, but Morrowind skips massive amounts of frames at 1024*768 res... It could be that the game's graphic engines was just poorly written. It probably has little to do with the crack itself; it probably wouldn't hurt to check and make sure all your drivers are up to date.

Well i have the following specs:
Athlon 2400+XP
512 PC2700 corsair XMS
9800XT 256MB
120GB maxtor diamond plus SATA.
Running the 4.9 drivers for ati

I can run doom3 in high settings no problem what so ever.It just seems that when im actually playing the game my hard drive is going crazy as all i hear is it working and i get seroius jumpy screens. Also on the tutorial i cant do anything as everytime i go to move my mouse over the screen it just lags bad.

Any anti-virus programs running? I know Norton has something called "On-Access Scan", and if left on will severly hinder a games performance, as it's constantly scanning the HD in the background.

I had avast running in the background. Do you think that could of had something to do with it?

I usually have it on for other games and dont seem to be bothered by it.

Possibly, it couldn't hurt to turn it off and try playing, could it?
