V4 No sound grr

Well Warlock gave me some advice and i took it no affence dude but its buggerd my console now no sound works no memory card shows up controller works dvd movies come up as dvd player not set up and games dont work stay on browser whats up with this crappy thing!!! Plz help peps

Excuse me seany but what advice did i give you that buggered your console?? I spoke to you through messenger about a console that You screwed the install on. I dont recall telling you to do anything other that to recheck your install. If your console is screwed its because of something YOU did, not from any advice i gave you. Get your facts straight!!

lol.. advice is something you are told about, like it worked for them, its not telling you to do it, thats a command....

All advice is taken at one's own risk, If i told him to do something to his console that screwed it up then i would be man enough to admit it. The console he modded would load PSX originals and backups as well as load movies. It wouldnt load PS2 cd or dvd backups so i told him he had a wire crossed or maybe a dry solder joint, I then told him to recheck the install. Thats about all the advice i gave. I dont appreciate him saying my 'advise' screwed the console when it was screwed before he ever spoke to me. One things for sure, I wont help again period.

Seaney, I dont see why you posted that Warlock gave you bad advice. Especially without commenting on what exactly he told you to do.

Anyways, like Warlock says, any advice you get is at your own risk. If you were told to jump the power cords and went ahead and did it without thinkin thats on you.

Sounds to me that you have fried one of the VIA's or maybe a single chip or something, can u see any splashes etc?

well what i did is checked every single wire. It looked ok to me. SO for safety i desoldered the bios wires as they were a tad messy and then followed to resolder them like warlock told me no affence mate im not angry at ya im angry at myself and this ps2.

So.... i booted the ps2 console up i was like huh wierd no sound and nothing will load

Ps2 games go to load and then shoot into the browers
Dvd movies say dvd players not set up

SO i think i fudged it along the way. Ive taken the chip out and still the same prob anyone help me?

Jon why would someone take someone to court on a forum its silly i have respect for these members. Shame when i wrote that i was pissed of!

Cause they could, cus you would be damaging their repuation as a chipper etc, saying this is the advice he gave me, and it made me mess it up. Which is saying he messy's up his installs. (even u broke it in the first place )
