Networking W/ Dial Up
I did a search and I found this http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.p...73507&hl=modem
After reading this I notice I won’t be able to hook up to my Xbox with only dial up. so my question is what would be the cheapest way to hook up my Xbox to my PC I would prefer if you could recommend external devices for I don’t have to open up my PC. I understand that I need a crossover cable but besides this, what else do I need

No matter what, you will need a network card. Other than that, you just need a crosscable. You plug it from your xbox, to your PC.
After that, you just set an IP for you PC, and with an xbox app like evox or avalaunch, set a static Ip for your xbox.
