also anyof you know if its ok to use the PS2's power plug and A/V plug in the Playstation 1?

Yeah I think that version should be ok.



And yes you can use the AV and Power Plugs for either a ps2 or ps1.

Ur sure right? I plugged the PS2 power cable into the PS1 last ngiht to test and stuff, and then I turned it off and went to sleep, in the morning the PS1 felt like warm/hot in and around the Power jack area. Maybe im just being too careful or something...my precious..my precious PS1... It was indeed a classic.


EDIT- Also i DID burn a game onto a balck memorex cd, and it didnt work, but then i got an emulator and that worked fine (the game worked THEN), so is it the black cd-rs or is it my burning technique? (Used Alcohol 120 1.9.2, at "Playstation" setting..

if an emu ran it then sounds like good backup/bad cd media. Like warlock said, unless u want to fraz ur laser stick to good quality cdr like verbatim datalife plus.

Yeah Im sure. I have so many cables and jacks all through my house. Ive used them all for ps1 and ps2. No problems with any of my systems.
