Well here are my results. I made the system.cnf file just like you said, burned it and the FAPlink.elf file to a CD-R with a dummy file and booted it up in the PS2 and it worked great. However when I went to install it on the mem card using the Infinity mem manager it wouldnt install. It did however install to the HDD using HDloader, but when I went to run it from the HDD it wouldnt run. Does yours runn from the HDD? Did you have to change something in the .cnf file?

UPDATE
Well it’s not exactly a bullet proof application yet. On further testing of it when loading certain ISO's within the FAPlink client on the PC side the application crashed and looses connection with the server end of the FAPlink on the PS2 thus needing to reboot the PS2 and the FAPlink server and then it still wont load certain ISO's. I even had the client freeze up halfway through an install of one game, leaving an unfinished partition on the HDD which I had to remove with the DMS3 HDD format tool as HDloader wouldn’t even recognize the partition after the crash. I asked the wank3rs crew about these problems last night in there IRC channel and they confirmed that these are indeed issues the FAPlink system is having. I also asked them if they plan on addressing the PAL screen on the IPconfig screen for NTSC users and they said it’s on there list of issues to work out. Oh by the way, the DMS3 HDD format tool is a very nice utility. I was even able to install it to the HDD using HDloader and boot it from the HDD as well so if this problem happens again I can simply boot it from the HDD and remove the ghost partition. Hopefully they will get these issues resolved and continue this great project. Things are finally starting to heat up with the PS2 scene after a long dry spell thanks in part to HDloader and all the DEV'ers creating tools to use in conjunction with it. Can’t wait to see what the future has in store for the PS2!

I'm hoping Gadget-Freak makes his new WinHIIP a lot better and more compatability then this one.
