Doom 3 Convert to DVD

I have already installed the whole game on my comp, no problem. Everytime i put in the firstcd though, it says insert cd 1. Could someone plese explain to me what the MSI, and hex programs do. I think that may be all i need to do to get it working. - thanks

the msi editing is for installing, if you read the thread you would see that its necessary because the game looks for DOOM3_1, DOOM3_2, DOOM3_3. if your disks are called something else, you need to change the file to look for the correct name. if you've installed the game, this is not your problem

you say you've installed the game. if you're using originals and it doesnt work i'd say 'hmm thats strange, take it back to the shop'. but im guessing you're using a backup, in which case i should say, 'forget the backup, run it from your original' but to help you run it from your backup i will just say 'crack'
