there is a crack on gcw wich claims to get rid of the "repair bug" but unfortunately it doesn't work 4 me - have to cope with my cd scratching rom^^ hope there will ever be a way to make backups from those sf games...

This v1.06 is different crack! Codename.Panzers.NOCD.Einheiten-Reparaturfix-Star****ers is the one, that should fix the "repair-bug"...or are these the same????

no thats the one i tried its new on gcw - tells me i have 1.06 in main menu too but still can't repair

the v.06-crack on gcw does not work for me either. i can't load all of my savegames and when i start a new game, it gives me an error and ctd.

Belive me it`s not a problem of the game it`s a problem of the Crack

i think i read some threads on the panzers-forums, where there were users which had that bug with the original exe, too. weird.

All I can see on gcw is v1.06 NocD by [S1elz], not by [Starf****er]... ... Theres supposed to be another fix/crack, wich I mentioned..and that should fix the repair-issue.

So does this 1.06 by [S1elz] work or not??? Cant test it by myself (@work)

is only an nfo file witch say that you could not remove the staforce files with the starforceremover.exe and it doesn´t work.

the file on gcw 1.06 withc mean that the "repair bug" will work, also won´t work, @ time there is no crack that fixes the repair bug

This is because this is as you said a bug and not a copy protection and cracks usually fixes copy protections and not bugs.
