lite-on probs

It is possible that the new discs are using a different dye or even making them a bit more wobbly which Sony drives hate.

ok cool so wat can i do would u recommend different disks if so wat ones or should i get a different righter if so wat 1 would u recommend thanx.

Do you have a lite-on drive or a sony? The liteon drive will burn at the media's max speed no matter what you set it to.

Well if you do indeed have a Sony you can wait for a firmware release that will set you straight for more dvd media. Or you can get different media, check on Sony's site for compatability. Ooor you can get another writer. Pioneer works with a lot of media and is highly recommended.
