Does it crash when u have switched the m2 off and are playing an original? What version ps2 and messiah is it?
Sounds like finger trouble on the mode switching for the psx games. If its a M2 1.33b then the psx mode can be tricky to get into and annoying to get out of. ASs for why it crashed every 20 mins....sounds like its overheating. As an experiment remove the lid and blow a fan into the ps2 and see if it lasts for longer. Could be that the install is a bit messy and blocking the normal airflow.
