Well, the chip doesn't actually look as bad as that. The picture was taken when it was still wrapped in plastic. So the folds and creases aren't actually on the chip.

It isn't the folds that were concerning me, The edges still aren't straight, the wire contact points are very dull, the components look to be of poor quality and the general putting together looks like a 3 year old in china was making thousands of these things for a $1 a day!!!

I think you should send it back and get yourself something more reliable. Neo chips aren't very good ( we all remember the 2.2 and the 4 ), and chances are you'll only have problems... But afterall, it is your decision, but all I'm saying is plain and simple - I just wouldn't even attempt to put that in my console...
