Looking for an instalation diagram

I recently ordered a Neo-12 mod-chip. However, the store didn't send me the chip shown in their installation diagram. Apparently this is a newer design of the Neo-12.

So I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find a installation diagram for this model. Thanks in advance. Picture below:

Is that YOUR actual chip? If it is, I wouldn't put it near my console, the workmanship looks a pile of sh*te!

yea it does look a lil butchered!(maybe he got from used mods.com;) )or maybe he got from crapchips.org
that's cool though better than where i ordered mine nevergeturmods.com

My thoughts exactly, That is the sorriest made chip i ever seen. Looks like someone cut that crap from a plastic sheet with dull scissors. I would send it back or trash it.

Agreed!
Definitely a gutzy move to try and install that thing you referred to as a mod chip. If you value your console, I would not recommend attempting it or even having it done by a pro for that matter. Better to get yourself something reliable and trustworthy. You may regret attempting the install on that thing.

I completely agree. that chip looks like crap...I know for sure that i would NEVER EVER put that in my ps2.

where did you get the chip from...because that looks nothing like a Neo-12. Send it back and get your money back quick smart

Well, the chip doesn't actually look as bad as that. The picture was taken when it was still wrapped in plastic. So the folds and creases aren't actually on the chip.

lufcfan 19-06-2004 02:48

It isn't the folds that were concerning me, The edges still aren't straight, the wire contact points are very dull, the components look to be of poor quality and the general putting together looks like a 3 year old in china was making thousands of these things for a $1 a day!!!

I think you should send it back and get yourself something more reliable. Neo chips aren't very good ( we all remember the 2.2 and the 4 :( ), and chances are you'll only have problems... But afterall, it is your decision, but all I'm saying is plain and simple - I just wouldn't even attempt to put that in my console... :(
