i wonder if anyone on the board had similar problems as me, fitted a new laser unit and then all was well.
Will have a look on ebay as well but £30 for a laser seems fair, also will have to see if its something i can fit myself. Dal

They aren't hard to fit. There are some tutorials on the net though if you're unsure. Take a look at a few of those and see what you think...
