Case Mod update

Okay, I finished glueing the lexan into the DVD drive and it's getting assembled after this post.

I have a couple questions.

Should I do the etching on the inside of the plastic or the outside? This weekend I saw some lighted glasswork with the etching on the inside and it looked great. I don't know how well that would work with Lexan though. I guess I can try both if I have to. What do you guys think?

Also, anyone know a soft enough material to clean the surface for this crap? My cotton t-shirt scratched it up pretty bad
