Yah, sort of a con. There is an evox disk around that will format, upgrade your bios, and install a bunch of apps for you. It is called "slayers auto installer" (2.5 was the newest, last i heard).
The file is very large, but if you haven't much knowlege on upgrading, you may want to get it (like 100mb).
