Setting the region

jea... its not that i refuse to change firmware... but it seems like a good idea not to flash the drive, if i don't have to... i've installed AnyDVD now, and it seems to work perfekt! i havnt choosed wich region i want my dvd to be yet (5 changes left), but when i use AnyDVD it simulates that i have choosed region 2, and that i have 4 changes left. But what happends if i put in a region 1 disk? do i have to change the settings in AnyDVD then?

And as I understand AnyDVD prevents the programs to read the actual settings? what happends then if i make a 1:1 direkt copy of a DVD5 ? does the copy get the region settings and so on from AnyDVD, or from the actual DVD?
