i had dsl which was around 1100kbs or so then once comcast came to town i immediately switched over. and boy has it made a big ass difference. my speed jumped from 1100kbs to around 2700kbs...muawhaha
 . overall, if ur more concerned with downloading speeds then the only real way to go is to get broadband.
