Just something to keep in mind. Buying a refurbished/used/new xbox will probably be cheaper. When xbox's die, people sell the parts to other people, whom are willing to pay a high price. They figure it is cheaper than buying a whole new xbox.
Pro-owned xbox = $130 (give or take 10) DVD-Rom = $60 (probably more and rarely cheaper than this) Xbox Case + screws and controller ports = $30 Xbox mobo + HDD (must buy together in order to work) = $60-90 Power supply = $30 (at cheapest) Controller = $20 used Total estimate = $200+, even more than a new xbox.
