So you mean that the laser may be tired.
Then the lasers must be just crap in PS2.
As you can see I have a V5/6, just used originals until recent.
The console is just over a year old.
Will try to use a DVD-R with G04 dye soon then we will see if it's just symptom of a cheap media.
