Hey M8, Sry for the long wait, long day at work. , ok back to work here. lol
ACPI = Advanced Configuration and Power Interface

ACPI evolves the existing collection of power management BIOS code, Advanced Power Management (APM) application programming interfaces (APIs, PNPBIOS APIs, Multiprocessor Specification (MPS) tables and so on into a well-defined power management and configuration interface specification.

The specification enables new power management technology to evolve independently in operating systems and hardware while ensuring that they continue to work together.

In your case I think the network card is noncompliant.
Upgrading the Graphics card may not solve this error but it would definitely make a difference since the emachines have onboard video thus slowing it down a bit. Be sure to disable the onboard video in setup when adding a new card. Also most video cards now a days are agp so you will need to see if you have an available port for add ons. PCI cards are probably slower than the onboard so you dont want to go that route.

Hope this helps.
