There used to be a chip that only required 4 wires to solder. Actually they werent wires the were very long legs off the chip itself.

It was some sort of concept chip that was never released. I cant remember the name of it though. A friend of mine who also Moderated with me at ConsoleSource.com got one and tested it for them. I used to have pics of it but Im not sure if I still do.

Ill see if I can scrape up any info on it.
