getdrivetypeA is from win32 api. jmps are from 80x86 asm.
tutorials can be a nice way to learn from how others do it. they wont teach you everything, but they can give a system to be adapted. some tools to be used. of course, most people posting here, trying to learn, fall by the wayside when they realize ITS WORK.
