aside from the modchips themselves there is another issue you have to take in consideration and that is that DNAS some how checks to see whether the disc inside your ps2 is an official $ony pressed DVD/CD game......so there is no way (yet) that you can play backups (that have DNAS protection) online even hk silvers are detected.......so DNAS (just guessing) probably checks for a $ony signature on the disc or something......I don't know.
to add to this confusing issue......i've read that some people are able to play DNAS protected original games with an original messiah enabled while others say they can't do this with a messiah2......I haven't personally tried any of this (heck I don't even own a network adapter, and I hate football games), just like reading about it.
