I know that, and I guess we all do - it's the "obvious" method.
But on the other hand, although it's easier, it's also slower since it call for additionnal .wav editing of the file(s) to trim out the extra blanks and adjust the final track sizes. This can be tedious at times... Besides, NOTHING beats the the overpowering sense of bliss and self-satisfaction when having defeated a copy-protection, ie. made a 1:1 backup, right?
