Hi BG,
thanx for the quick response!  unfortunately neither boot method seems to work for PSX discs still, sigh... and i had been under the impression that mods would remove region protection, but i guess not... that's irritating coz i've got a 2.13A dvd driver version for which nobody seems to have the dvdregionx codes. dang.
