Ahh yes, the "multiple adjacent pins on the CD/DVD controller chip" issue.
There are VIA's on the back of the board that correspond to these pins/legs. Which ones? Fire up your continuity tester (you DO have a multimeter handy, yeah?) and find out... Similar points are marked on other diagrams. I'd just find a better diagram for your chip. Look around on the popular sites, unless someone else has one offhand (I don't for a V3). - Gurm
