I had the official demo off PCZONE mag and i had the exact same error message as you as did 1000s of other people. (you just need to have a look on the splintercell web site/Forums). I now have the Full game and diddnt experience any probs like i did in the demo. Great game. What graphics card do you have ? You probarly know this but ill post it just incase  Make sure you have the new drivers for your graphics card. I have a freind who was trying to play this game a with a TNT and he has same probs as you
