Pinnacle Studio Dx...should i or shouldnt i?

I have the Pinnacle DV500 at work and I never really got a chance to get into Svcd's because I was waiting to buy a new DVD player... But I think you are better off sticking with vcdhelp.com or whatever that site is. To my knowledge the Pinnacle won't make it any faster. The only thing I use my DV500 for is exporting to VHS tape for my animations to give to clients. Just got my DVD-r so I will be testing that stuff out. Do you have a Digital video camera? With the pinnacle you can import directly if it has Firewire, but at home I just went an bought a firewire port. And then I use Adobe premiere 6.5 to edit, cut, etc,,etc,,
I mean if they are taking their sweet old time getting you the stuff then you are probably better off on your own. Hope that helps.
