addition: the disc motor isnt completly dead but does a 1/10th turn (someone else on this forum had this problem but there was no conclusion) after u inserted a disc. But that was all.
Well, I guess we do have to check the fuses or what I found in the troubleshooting guide:
"If the black screen is accompanied by one or both of no sound/disk won't spin, then check that the Magic 2 was fully seated on insulating tape."
But the tape(standard double sided tape) is larger than the chip...
