The Messiah 2 requires NO SWITCH........
The freezing problem and switch you are talking about is for the Magic 3 chips..... It is a fault in the Magic 3 chips....(Hopefully they fixed this in the new Magic 3.1) The Messiah 2 does not have this problem.... I would stay away from the Magic line of chips and purchase a Messiah 2.... You can purchase one from Charlie_PS2 or Dust2Dust....
